This year for RED Day 2025, Keller Williams Realty Gulf Coast is proud to partner with our local community to support Waterfront Rescue Mission — a vital organization that serves individuals and families facing homelessness and hardship across the Gulf Coast.

We believe in the power of community, and RED Day is our time to step up and give back in a big way. From now until May 7, 2025, our team is collecting urgently needed essentials to support the mission’s ongoing efforts to provide shelter, food, and dignity to those who need it most — right here at home.

 Urgently Needed Wishlist

We’ve received a list of high-demand items from Waterfront Rescue Mission, and we’re asking our community to focus on these:

 Clothing & Apparel (Men & Women, All Sizes):

• Underwear
• Shoes
• T-shirts
• Pants
• Sweatpants/Sweatshirts
• Belts
• Slides
• Depends/adult incontinence briefs

 Bedding & Accessories:

• Twin-size bed sheet sets
• Disposable bed pads
• Towels & washcloths
• Small, clear plastic purses or backpacks

 Personal Hygiene:

• Body wash
• Shampoo
• Deodorant
• Toothpaste & toothbrushes
• Feminine hygiene products
• Non-alcoholic hand sanitizer

 Food & Kitchen Items:

• Canned fruits, vegetables, and beans
• Individual fruit cups/applesauce
• Spaghetti sauce
• Pasta and rice
• Oatmeal or grits
• Sugar and brown sugar
• Cooking oil
• Plastic cutlery kits
• Styrofoam cups, plates, or bowls

These essentials are a lifeline to someone without a home. Even just one or two items from this list can offer warmth, nourishment, and dignity.

What Is RED Day?

RED Day, short for Renew, Energize, and Donate, is an annual day of service created by Keller Williams to give back to the communities where we live and work. It takes place every May, and it’s a day when KW associates across the globe pause business as usual to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Since its inception in 2009, RED Day has grown into a powerful movement of collective action — rooted in the idea that real estate is more than just buying and selling homes… it’s about serving people.

At Keller Williams Realty Gulf Coast, we look forward to RED Day every year because it allows us to live out that mission in action. This year, supporting Waterfront Rescue Mission is how we choose to show up.
